Our History
It all started in a small family-owned deli & restaurant in Philadelphia during the mid-1980’s to the early 1990’s where our owner, Chris Mauri went to work for the Gasper Family managing their store and making those world-famous cheesesteaks and amazing hoagies (you just cannot beat the bread from back East). Bobby Gasper decided to give wings to his passion and started a small landscape company which today has grown to one of the top landscape companies in the country. Chris was able to cut his teeth in the landscape industry in the early days of Gasper Landscapes and after marrying the amazing and beautiful Niki Turk in the late 90’s, they moved out to Las Vegas determined to start their own company.
Las Vegas, being just a little different weather wise than Pennsylvania, took a little getting used to, but it was not long before Mauri Landscapes was born in 1998. From the beginning, it was their dream to build Mauri Landscapes into a family of its own and use it to provide their clients with a service that would stand apart from what they were used to; a service that was creative, had integrity, did quality work, communicated, and cared about the relationships with it’s client as much or more so than the income it provided to their team.
Along the way, the Mauri’s also expanded their biological family with 5 wonderful children, Isabel, Gabrielle, Abigail, Angelo, and Mateo, the oldest 3 of which are now also part of the Mauri Landscapes family. It is their continued passion and mission to love and nurture not only their biological family, but the Mauri Landscapes family as well. They will do this by continuing to be set apart in how they do business and by making the people more important than the product.

We are Committed to Training
At Mauri Landscapes, we are committed to putting team members on your projects that understand what we expect from them. Unlike other companies that will use anyone that “fits the shirt,” Mauri makes sure to implement the effective completion of our systems by putting our team members through what we call Mauri Landscapes University. It is through this training that our team learns the Mauri way to do everything they will need to do on job sites. It is through this training that they are promoted up our career ladder and can feel good about who they are and what they do. It is through this training that you can rest assured that your project will be completed in an efficient and quality manner by landscape pros.
Training does not stop with our crew members, our foremen are also given the opportunity to excel at their craft in our Foreman School where they, too, can look forward to becoming experts in teaching, management, and implementation. In addition, our foremen are required to attend a monthly leadership training to ensure they have all the tools they need and are doing it the Mauri way.
